The goal with this project was to create a info-graphic poster describing the origins of the post-thanksgiving sales event Black Friday.
Creating a timeline was the most important element, it was the best way to establish the story as well as a visual guide the viewer. The original sketch had a one, two and three column layout design.
After feedback, I went with the one column layout design with multiple rows. The illustrations were created by me using, none other than illustrator. The color palette included a less intense orange and a dark muted green hue.
The final version included a timeline, the amount of customer participation and reasons for participation.
