In this project, the goal was to design a metallic beverage package for 21-30 college students. Studying the leader in the energy drink market, I was able to get a sense of my design direction. 
I started with the logo sketch which gave me three different ideas for the product. A vertical logo stood out the most from the other brands in the category.
The can design had to be bold, saturated and unexpected. So I went with a three hue color palette of black, gold and red as well as the aluminum of the can. 
Incorporating woodcut patterns and a distinctive top ring and pull tab for each can creates a solid design that would be appreciated by the demographic.
